PMG Works on Metal RFID-Label

The PMG Works on Metal RFID Label was specially developed for the reliable identification and tracking of objects on metal surfaces. Its special design enables stable RFID communication directly on metal and is particularly suitable for industrial applications.

With its flat and robust construction, the label can be permanently attached to metal objects. Contactless RFID reading enables fast and efficient identification – even over longer reading distances.

RFID Identification on Metal

Metal surfaces present particular challenges for RFID identification. The electromagnetic field of the RFID-Antenna can be reflected or shielded by metal. This can interfere with signal transmission and significantly reduce the reading range of conventional RFID-Labels.


The PMG Works on Metal RFID-Label was specifically developed for use on metal surfaces. An integrated foam layer creates the necessary distance between the RFID-Inlay and the metal surface, reducing the disruptive effects of metal on the RFID signal.


This enables reliable RFID communication directly on metal – without the need for an additional spacer.

Reliable RFID Identification

UHF RFID technology enables contactless reading from distances of up to 5 metres. This allows labelled objects to be identified quickly without direct line of sight.


Especially in automated processes, warehouse applications and the management of large numbers of assets, RFID enables efficient identification without manual scanning.
