About PMG Security Printing

We produce security solutions, both for the public and for the industrial sector, and develop products which provide your consumers and customers with effective protection. With us, the immediate detection of a product’s authenticity is a given.

This includes products which make it clear if an item has already been opened and those that integrate security features in labels specifically modified to suit your requirements (for example, adhesive seals for official documents). We can supply you with tamper-evident labels with additional integrated security characteristics designed to distinguish authenticity.

These security characteristics can be made either visible to or hidden from the consumer.

We can also offer you “security labels 2.0” which allow you to track your product (PMG Brand Secure System) and receive authenticity verification via the internet.

The technology behind PMG Security Printing

Thanks to our extensive machinery, we can be very flexible when it comes to the manufacture of customized and security-relevant products. PMG Security Printing has a great deal of expertise in this area.

We also joined forces with our machine suppliers to develop some of our own designs which allow us to apply special techniques which external companies would otherwise have only been able to reconstruct at great expense.

This makes the labels we produce for you even more secure.

Partner for security printing

Our extensive network allows us to work together with global market leaders in the security printing supplier sector to develop and optimize the key components of the seals and labels to be produced. These comprise leading manufacturers of adhesives, films, printing inks and varnishes.

Our customers therefore have a selection of individually customized components, such as a variety of printing inks, at their disposal, like those used in the printing of paper money.

What’s more, this produces one of the highest safety components as it is practically impossible to replicate the new formula.

Quality of our security labels

Having consistently high quality in the high security sector is obviously an absolute must. These high demands on quality can only be met to a limited degree in the printing process (and this also particularly with long machine running times).

It is for this reason that we include a so-called - camera-system-based - 100% final inspection after the actual production process.

Each label is individually scanned and compared to a sample label that two employees, independently from one another, have found to be good and suitable for customer release.

With our camera-based inspection systems, the printed image as a whole (blurred edges, missing areas, color impurities, etc.) can be compared to the correct appearance on the label. It is also possible to compare consecutive numbers to the barcode with the aid of OCR. Braille (embossed lettering for the blind) inspection is also provided.

Safety of our printing processes

Just as the customer expects a great deal from us, we also have very high demands when it comes to our production and building security.

With us, this includes all processes, starting from the order and delivery of the necessary components and their storage, their production and delivery, through to the secure and certified disposal of the proofs and all other components relevant to safety.

We have coordinated our processes throughout. Everything is tracked in a transparent and coherent manner, from the entrance into the building, via especially secure, camera-monitored production and warehouse areas, through to the complete documentation of each individual used part.

After all, this is not only a matter of our safety, but also involves a major level of trust which you put in us as our customer.
