We aim to provide a safe and healthy work environment that meets or exceeds appropriate workplace health and safety standards. We will take appropriate measures to prevent workplace-related injuries and occupational illnesses. Accident prevention is an ethical and human obligation. If an accident occurs at work, even though all safety precautions have been taken, immediate rescue and emergency measures are specified. Each employee of Plöckl Media Group GmbH is provided free of charge with personal protective equipment appropriate to the occupational activity. Our machinery, equipment and elevators are regularly maintained and inspected to ensure plant safety and reduce the risk of accidents to employees. We monitor hazardous materials in accordance with safety and environmental laws. Appropriate safety data sheets are available for the use of hazardous substances, and users are regularly instructed in their use. We conduct regular training for occupational safety in the company. This includes, in particular, training for first aiders and fire protection officers. We also conduct regular fire safety briefings to raise employees' awareness of how fires occur and how to fight them. Safety briefings are held annually and when employees are hired.
We regard the development of our employees as an essential investment in the future of our company. We pay attention not only to the development of professional, but also social and methodical skills.
We maintain an efficient environmental management system at all production sites around the world, which we are continuously improving. The minimum requirements are compliance with local environmental protection laws and the requirements of the environmental protection management system of the Plöckl Media Group GmbH. In exercising our environmental responsibility, we work together with our business partners and suppliers.
We undertake not to accept any gifts or benefits or to hold (company) investments that could lead to a conflict of interest. In particular, neither bribes nor other illegal payments may be offered, made or accepted.
We expect each employee to feel personally responsible for complying with this Corporate Code and to support his or her colleagues in complying with it. Management is responsible for enforcing these principles. They become part of our regulations and policies.
We respect the intellectual property of our customers and market participants and clear patent and utility model registrations to avoid product infringement. All employees must ensure that our intellectual property is protected from access by unauthorized employees and third parties.
We follow restrictions on the transportation of goods and trade with countries sanctioned by international laws and regulations.
Purchasing from OEM or qualified distributors will prevent counterfeit parts from circulating. We agree to notify our customer immediately and take appropriate legal action to protect the market if knowledge of counterfeit parts in circulation is obtained.
Our products are designed and manufactured in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements and internal standards. We do not compromise on this. We ensure that appropriate measures are taken in good time in the event of potential conflicts.
At our sites, we provide protection from retaliation for all employees who report a case in accordance with the Anti-Corruption Policy report. Complaint procedures, complaints or indications of violations of this Code of Conduct may be reported at any time to Plöckl Media Group GmbH at beschwerde@be-pmg.de - also in anonymous form. The reporting person is required to report only those complaints and indications about which he or she is in good faith as to the accuracy of the corresponding report. All business partners must guarantee not to take any disadvantageous measures or disciplinary measures against the reporting person.
